McClelland Library Curbside Service: Updated for Fall 2023
The McClelland Library is still offering curbside book checkout
Are you a member of the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library? Would you prefer to pick up your books at curbside instead of coming in? If so, you can checkout books from our library with your McClelland Library Card online at pick them up without leaving your car. If you are a member and do not have your library card yet, you can request one through the link on this page.
Checkout Steps:

- You can browse our holdings through the online catalog, linked on this page. You will need the title and author of the books you wish to checkout.
- To request books for check out, you can fill out the form on this page, or you can call 602-864-2351 during opening hours. We are closed for the Month of August, but reopen after Labor Day. Starting September 5th the Library will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10AM – 3PM and Friday evenings from 3PM – 8PM.
- Once you submit your form, we will send you an email to confirm when and if your books are available. This can take a few days depending on the number of requests received.
- After you receive your confirmation email, your book order may be picked up on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10AM – 2PM and Fridays from 3PM – 7PM in the parking lot of the Irish Cultural Center. Once you reach the parking lot, please call the posted number on the sign and we will bring your books to your car. Your email confirmation that your books are on hold will contain further instructions. Please designate who will be picking up your books in the form below if you will not be picking up the books yourself. Please make sure whoever picks up the order brings their photo ID.
Book Returns
All book returns must be placed in the McClelland Library drop box outside of our parking lot gates to ensure all library materials are properly quarantined. No book returns will be taken inside the Cultural Center gates by staff or volunteers. The book drop is available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
