Jane Anderson

Irish born, Jane Anderson grew up in Leixlip, Co. Kildare and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1994. She is a single mom of one daughter who is married with two children.

Jane’s first job after secondary (High) school was working in animation for Don Bluth Studios Ireland from 1985 – 1994, when she left to join Fox Animation Studios in Phoenix. Emigrating with a large Irish and international animation crew she settled into the valley with her daughter. When the studio closed in 2000, she retrained in web, communications and database management and by 2002 was working for American Express in communications. From 2021-2023 she trained and became an accredited life coach. She then joined the Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) in late 2021 as a Communications Officer where she works today. “Working at PSPRS is an opportunity to give back to the state that has become my home,” says Jane, “as it supports the first responders, firefighters, corrections officers and elected officials across the state by managing their pensions.”

Jane became a Trustee in May 2024. She also serves as Secretary on the board of the Irish Network Arizona and looks forward to playing a larger role supporting the Irish community of Phoenix.
